The website will be moving to a new server , hopefully in the next week.
Hopefully this will go through without any issues. (fingers, toes and 1s and 0s crossed.) You may notice the site disappearing from any links but refreshing the links should bring up the new location.
Cheers, Allan

If anyone can get direct to here, the move is underway.
Ain't technology wonderful. (Still clueless about what is going on in the ether!)
Cheers, Allan

The move is now complete. The new hosting site is more secure, but there may be a slight downside in that the software for the priep database may now have compatability issues.
I will have to go through the files and try to find out what needs changing. Hopefully not much, as my database programming is a tad rusty.
cheers, Allan

Yep, everything is ok here, EXCEPT the PIREP/ROSTER page. Good luck ALLAN , I would have no idea where to start!

Yes, could everyone keep a note of flights to be recorded. I will see what I can figure out at the weekend, providing I don't get directed out to the garden by the management.
The active files in the database are fairly straightforward in the processing of the input, so hopefully it might just need some tweeking.
I just need to get to T in the index - once I find an Idiot's Guide to Tweeking SQL.

The PIREP page must be fighting ALLAN. Maybe time to call in the 10 year old relative, that's what I do when mine goes out of wack. OR 100,000 CHIMP's an let them pound on the key board. All I can say is keep up the good fight ALLAN! It only took me 8 years to figure out how to post a picture

robau707, What I figured out on the screenies was pure accident! If you have a photo program look around and see if it has a "save for internet" in it's file, this converts your FSX shot from a bitmap image to a Jpeg which can be sent. or if you use FS9-2004 click on the Bluegrass home page ,under guide to submitting screen shots and click on the highlighted program to take screen shoots ,it also works in FSX, and set it to take image in Jpeg. It will save any thing on your computer screen when you hit "print screen key" I made a new folder in my pictures called screen shots and they get sent there so I do not have to search for them. then when you go to the "screen shot" area in the forum when you hit reply an "add attachment" comes up in the right hand corner. click on it and then hit insert and you can browse to the folder and pictures saved with in.click the picture you want.then with any luck(it took me a few hours to figure it out) it will load it . WARNING!! IT IS ADDICTIVE! I can not stop wanting to post them every where.

The Photo Program in Guide to Screen shots , I could not bring up when I clicked on it , says "webb page not found" BUT I have seen the program in the utilities section for FS2004 at the Simnation web site an I am pretty sure Flightsim an other down load sites will have it still for free.

mmmm, let's see if I can remember everything- everything written here ion the forum (this one). T he spot my house is on is all rock. Can grow corn, although nopales (cactus) is the norm. Tried numerous plants, like strawberries- have some plants, but no fruit. Tried hard beans. Couldn't harvest enough to replace the "seeds". Was loaned a spot next to me, and have put in three long corn furrows, maybe 4. Anyhow, rains may begin next week according to the weather reports here, but I think the repĆ³strs are based on averages from the past years, or they use some kind of voodoo thing. Sorry, can't help with the web page problems. You're right tho- kids today grew up with computers. I (we) grew up with an a.m. radio and an old heavy black phone that you had to DIAL! I remember the ice box. Sometimes still call it that, and I get strange looks, or even a "What's that?" I'll read about the screenshot program later, just read it real quick and, mmmm, "What?"
All the floors are now tiled. Well, not the bathroom or laundry room. The whole outside is now stuccoed. Haven't worked on the rear balcony nor the front patio in some time. Someday. Gov't here is one of the most corrupt in the world- No. 3 according to the U.N. By, the way, how do I get my paycheck if I can't log my flights? Me, Lou.

Louross. since the goverment is so corrupt , just have the passengers pay in cash , change the cargo manifest an take a SAMPLE,then kick back 10% to the Gov.official an keep two sets of books. Like most of the polictians who own companies here in the states.....

I was away last week but spent the train trip home, and the weekend, trying to get my head round php and MySQL. Now I've gone from blissful ignorance to just plain ignorant. I'm in two minds whether to try to fix what legacy issues are hidden in the existing database processing files, or knock up some new data entry and reporting files to access the database in the short term.
As php is about as user friendly as a cornered plague rat, that is a job for the coming travel-free week!
