Andrew - I also fly the AW650 - ARGOSY ( and Vickers Viscount) it's the 650's 50th birthday around now the first flight was end Jan i think (1959) the air museum i do volunteering at (Midland Air Museum) has the second prototype and it's first flight birthday in May. Its a great aircraft - first turboprop freightliner. How many knew the Argosy started with a Shackelton wing strapped on the top of the new body and 4 turboprop engines screwed in place (the wing saved dev time apparently). The Argosy was built just over the fence (well nearly) to the museum which is alongside Coventry EGBC airport.
Maybe next year for this old bird

Mike,
I was a bit hasty in thinking about entering the "Argosy" in the GAAR. Being a turboprop, she is excluded under the current rules.
