Tom, Something about the way you posted the DC-3 FD on your web site. The file cannot be viewed nor can the target be saved. Looking forward to trying it out.

It works now if the web site works at all. I may have worn it out.
I had written DC3_TG_FD..zip in the download code instead of DC3_TG_FD.zip.
Sorry.

By golly, I'm impressed! I downloaded the Dc3cv1 and, after I got the aircraft and the gauges in the correct folders, it loaded just fine from the Create a Flight menu. The first thing I did, though, was to read the readme file and set the random failures mode to NEVER. I also added pax and cargo. And I used CTRL-E to start the engines. I've made two flights and the CG is good, the power is good and speed is good. The landings were ~77kts and -120 on the landing gauge. I added my R4D paint and that worked, too. I kind of like his panel, and I added the usual digital gauges, of course. Maybe I'll turn the failures back on someday.

Good to hear that, Allen. In the future when you're ready, turn the failures back on and it will keep you honest! lr.

Allen What Lou said about the failures keping you honest is no joke. Flying this beast with all the failures active has kept me alert and paying attention. Not such an old ho-hum go around any more. Adds a lot to your flights. Is there a way you can let me have your R4D paint that I could put on this bird Let me know. bud

Hi Bud, If you send me an email (hapeterson.cda&gmail.com) I'll send the paint and the adder to the aircraft.cfg file. The wing insignias are top and bottom of each wing and are too far inboard. If you can live with that, OK. I'll probably re-position them some time, I can re-send the paint update then. But I'm going to be busy getting ready for DC3WR2009 for a while. You know what to do with the &. Allen
