. . . Just knock three times and ask for Hernando, and watch out for Uncle Max. You're dating yourself, Alan ;D And so'm I. Always liked that song, since I first saw the movie (Pyjama Game?), way, way back in . . . whenever it was.

G
You could open an account for free at Imageshack and then link from there. I've used them for years and had no major issues. Some other sites require visiting at regular intervals but that doesn't seem to be the case with this lot.
In fact I've just revived my old avatar from there!

Home and dry, well the glass is empty, after an interesting series of flights. I don't often fly into the darkening hours, and probably should, so it was good to fly outisde the usual zone. Thanks Andrew for setting it up and thanks to everyone else who took part, the bar bills would have been so much cheaper without you.

To all who entered, whether you completed the Rally or not, thank you for participating. As I have said before, a Rally like the GARSA doesn't exist without you the participants.
Colombia and the Andes Mountains are a challenging location to fly in. The combination of altitude and hot conditions adds an extra dimension and you have to know your aircraft and it's performance capabilities.
Some of the Flight Legs, particularly the early ones, were more challenging than others and a few of us, including myself, came unstuck. On the other hand, the predominantly long runways made for easy landings. Overall, I thought I had made the Rally more challenging than previous events, however, the results tell a different story.
Again, thank you for your participation and I look forward to seeing you in the next event.
Regards Andrew

Danny, The next major Rally will be the Great Australian Air Rally (GAAR). It is held in February of each year and there will be a link to it on the Bluegrass Airlines home page from early January. The GAAR is where it all started 11 years ago. If time permits, I will try and schedule a short five leg Rally in early December, however, the timing of that depends on the scheduling of other events by other organisations. I make announcements through flightsim.com, and the Forums at Bluegrass Airlines, Mutley's Hangar and DC-3 Airways. Also keep an eye on the Great Air Rally Grand Prix (GAR GP) web site at the following: www.bluegrassairlines.com/bgad/gargp_home/Cheers Andrew
