I can see we'll have to make Bill the Lord High Admiral of the Marine Division, and Steve has definitely got the hang of the Bluegrass approach.

Sorry for mistake, but my pictures.. I put them into the wrong folder: should be here, instead of the GAAR 2013 folder . Nevertheless.. season greeting's from the"Gudrun Maersk's" position: N12° 15.97' / E53° 21.86' Still a long way to Adelaide.. Cheers and all the best! Urs

Departing Deeming NM Approaching Waypoint #1 VOR CIE I deviated slightly north around The Chiricahua National Monument (Standing Up Rocks in Apache) Maintained VFR at 10,500' Passing P33 Cochise County near Wicox, AZ The highway is I-10 heading east toward Lordsburg, Deeming and El Paso The Salton Sea 25nm east of waypoint TRM (Thermal CA) West of Palm Springs in San Gorgino Pass (aka Banning Pass). At Banning will file IFR 8,000' as I enter the Los Angeles area. Mountain to the left is Mt. San Jacinto. Looking north to San Bernardino an San Antonio Mtn. As I begin the descent into the Los Angeles basin, I am greeted with the clearest view of the area I have ever seen. Now I remember! I'm not using Real Weather. Weather is set to Fair Weather. I had enough worries dodging mountains and Military Ops areas. On final for RW30 at Long Beach, I check out the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. If Tom's can deliver, this aircraft will be in a container and departing the port of Los Angeles in 4 days heading to Sydney NSW Australia. If not there are several other ships that will get it to Australia in time for the GAAR 2013. Final for RW30 Touching down! My route: KDNM-CIE-E77-BLH-TRM-PSP-KBNG-KLGB ATC refused an IFR clearance at 10,000' but the only deviation I needed was to go north a bit around the Chiricahua Natl. Monument.

I love the picture above of the 182RG posted by Charlie. It looks like I see a Bluegrass repaint on that aircraft. Can't find this in the BGA hangar. Is this your own artwork Charlie? Is this FSX or FS9?
Cheers
