I can not get FS9 to execute after installing it on my computer which is a windows 10 computer. FSX works ok on it but not FS9. Anyone else have that problem?

Bill, I believe W10 will not run any game where you need to insert the disc to play, that's why FSX will run okay, no disc needed to play.

I Installed Windows10 and could not get FS9 to run ,and had problems with FSX. So I am still using Windows7. Nice of Microsoft to stop supporting Flight Sims.

Search the internet sites for a file called "No CD" or "FS2004 No CD Patch" or variations. Install this and it will allow FS2004 to run in Windows 10. It is an application file. It allows you to run without the CD. This was problem for me when I changed to 10!

Thanks for the info guys. I got FS9 to run now but it looks terrible so I think I will just stick with FSX.

Bill, I have both FS2004 and FSX on my computers. I keep FSX somewhat stock but use some Cal Classic scenery on it. I re-due FS2004. On one setup, I have used scenery from Cal Classic.com. This gives me the 1950's and 1960's. I like propliners. I also have FS2004 set up as Golden Wings for 1930's and 1940's. I like WWII cargo aircraft. The settings for FS2004 need adjusting to get the best results. Also a good video card helps. Have you tried the C-97, Boeing Stratocruiser in FSX? it is great to fly.
Keep the shiny side up! Bob
