Is that Nessie? Hope I didn't startle her. She is probably cussing that noisy Gooney Bird.

Seven of the planes that I have been tracking on FlightAware are at EGPK, 2 are at BURK and 2 are still at BGBW. The tracking on FlightAware was a little spotty, apparently controllers sometimes did not report in. Miss Montana went to BGSF instead of BGBW so maybe the forwarding of fuel to BGBW didn't happen. The weather has been pretty good for the planes, mostly VFR at all the airports, and most of the flights were at 6000-8000 feet. So now it is just a short hop, 264 nm, down to Duxford, the assembly point. On June 6 I'll probably fly to Caen and then north along the Normandy Coast and then back to Duxford. I'm hoping there will be some TV coverage of the event. After the D-Day event, Miss Montana will be joining the 70th Anniversary celebration of the Berlin Airlift. Not sure how I will get my plane home. Maybe just let her rest in England for a while. Allen

Actually, the screen shots from "Time for an adventure" were the result of a redo. On the flight to EGPK I was about an hour out when the dinner bell rang. I saved the flight, had dinner and then got company. The next morning I restarted the flight and flew on down to EGPK. While making the approach my wife came in to watch me land. Somehow things got a little out of hand and... well I crashed on the runway. No "Oh shucks!", nothing. I just sat there and watched the sim restart. After a bit, my wife took on the roll of the FAA investigator. FAA Don't you have a check list? Me I do FAA Did you check it? Me Uhh... etc. So this morning I restarted the flight again and, having some time to think about it, decided to have some fun. Allen
