Andrew: Great job this year couldn't have been better. But.... In the famous words of the Cheif in a John Wayne movie McLintock " Great Party, but no whiskey, we go home". Until next year.

Hello to all of you ...and ...Good bye! This was a fantastic time for me and my old bird here in Aussie....the land which often is mixed up with my own country: Austria.... but we`ve got the snow and you the kangoroos.... Special thank to all of the responsible persons and the chief(s) like Andrew!!!!! I NEVER expected to finish this rally ( my first one ) and then having the 19th place ....a platinum medal,.... AND the 1st price in screenshot competition.....UNBELIEBABLE !!!! this shows that even newbys can make their way if they are intentional and act with with heart and emotion..... I learnt A LOT !!!!!! about FSIMs , aircrafts, panels, config files, AUSTRALIA and good people all over the world.... when I remember my first appearance here I just "fooled around" without knowing much about navigation in aircrafts,....my boxcar was not fitted with ....so many things I just needed basically,....I love it cause of the movie with James Stewart "the flight of the phoenix" since I saw it in 1956,...so THIS was a chance to fly again with this wonderful bird and not counting the two technicals with the broken oilpipe I had not one single problem,..... BUT I added two different clocks, many gauges like Volts, Amps, VOR, NDB, fuel and climbing calculators, OAT gauge, many switches and helpful indicators,....but all in style of the time and I had to reconstruct the panel to have place for all the new gauges.... this was not just helpful, it was necessary and made much fun ( even when many nights were in front of the pc and not in bed....lol...) it was all worth of it and I have to thank you so much for this wonderful experience,....and I added so many new sceneries from this wonderful country I always wanted to visit....so maybe this wish will come true sooner to.... then my enthousiastic sceneries had to be documentated and I made thousands of screenshots,...lol.... and it was not easy for myself to know which ones I should take to present here,....as I am a enthousiastic fotographer in reality too.... so again and again I have to thank you from the depth of my heart to make this fantastic adventure come true and this fantastic feeling of aviation world be so near! I regret that my English is not better , but I hope that you can feel my emotions and I appreciate the time and the great work of you all and wish you a good year and looking forward to participate next year yours sincerely Thomas B and his Flying Boxcar "Phoenix"
