I feel the same way, Flame, about the downloaded aircraft. I got a Cessna 340a from their 2009 file. It seems to fly OK but the instruments are hard to read and work, especially the AP. I tried a Beaver. it looks good, but if I give it more than half throttle while flying it climbs and I can't control it either with elevator trim or yoke. And I don't know how to fix it. I called a local Beaver operator and got his cruise settings, MP and rpm, but they won't work in my Beaver. I haven't tried 9.3 yet

I try to read and study before I just jump into a product, a download, etc. I read all the comments on the aircraft before I downloaded them, and all were highly positive. I admit I was taken aback when I tried these aircraft.
This gives me some insight into the community over there. If something flew that bad in the FSX or 2004 sims, the community wouldn't be raving about it. Maybe those guys really don't know what an aircraft should do? I dunno. I feel like I got burned and I'm gun shy to go back and research another aircraft over there. AND, what about payware? Are they paying money for airplanes that fly horribly but they don't know it?
These are questions I cannot answer.
I've been disappointed in all the other aircraft that came in the stock X-Plane installation, but for the 172 and the Cirrus jet. The rest have incomplete panels or missing textures.... Not a mature product yet, I guess.
