Mount Hotham (YHOT) to Corryong (YCRG)Yuck! Another grey, wet day of flying through the mountains.. Reached checkpoint 1 using NDB and VOR. Now to make that turn... ..to 046 degrees. Looks not very promising outside... Heading for the 'CRG' NDB on top of the hill. Turning base. Tail wheel is landing too. Parking near the 'terminal building' ...er... shack.

Hi, A huge' Thank You' to the organisers of the brilliant GAAR 2010 The old Commando is battling on, with just one leg to go and we are all hoping she'll hang together for a wee bit longer. pics are hosted from 'classic british files' who offer this simple free service and it has to be simple for me to get the hang of it. Cheers! Andy.

Crossing the Blue Mountains (YJBY-YBTH) Easy to see the barrier that the mountains presented to the early settlers.

Leg 3 shots: climbing towards the first checkpoint... ...then out along the coast. After brushing the leaves on the gum trees, a perfect 3 point touchdown at YMCO.

LEG 6just leaving YCRG with secret cargo on board.... checkpoint against the sun and moon just barely visible !!!! great pic! still cruising the mountains but the see in sight... crossing Jervis Bay for landing pattern unbelievable timing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (0,02 sec missing) leaving the runway friendly military staff ( female...wow...!!! ) taxi to parking position pushback to unload cargo ( see the helicopters in the background and the f16 in the hangar....) unloading the Military-Land-Rover from Corryong, was a great deal to take it to Jervis Bay unloaded....
