I have noticed that since the recent hurricane along the Gulf Coast I have not been getting winds aloft from FSX Real weather.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I haven't been at altitude much lately, but quite a few landing circuits around the patch, so I can't say if I'm getting winds aloft. Did you double check your settings to make sure you're actually downloading winds aloft with real weather? I found mine UNchecked when I always leave it checked. I cannot explain.

Is there a difference between Real WX on FS9 and FSX?
I got it on FS9 just the other day and during the last hurricane.

Tom, I'm not sure if they are the same.
Flaming thanks for the help.
I went into Settings and found out my box for winds aloft was unchecked also.
I had to happen around 31st of August, as my saved flights from before then have winds aloft.
I have been using fsuipc for some flights since then that I fly online for Panhandle Express. Not sure if that caused the problem. I will keep watch to see if the problem re-occurs.
Thanks.

I had something similar happen in FS9 some time ago.
I have noticed variations in weather if I save it in short order swaps between FS9 and FSX, so maybe they are not coming from exactly the same source data. There again maybe X uses the info differently.
Totally off topic, I noticed that Microsoft have finally ended support for X. I guess 9 ended even earlier!
