I just bought the FSX compatible version of MAAM's DC-3 and have run into an issue when trying to fly using the 2d panel ( the 3d panel has some critical instruments that don't show up in 3d like the altimeter ) the problem is that in level flight the eye view is to low and all you see is sky. I can raise and lower the eye view when using the 3d panel ( shift+enter etc. ) but it doesn't work when using the 2d. Am I doing something wrong or is it FSX ??

Hi Paladin, It's not you, just one of several "improvements" in FSX. I solved the problem by assigning buttons 3 and 4 on the CH yoke as follows (in settings): VIEW (always pan down) to button 3 VIEW (always pan up) to button 4 I set the repeat to max on both buttons. There is still a minor problem in that when you use the hat switch (or the num pad keys) to change the view you have to readjust the front view with buttons 3 or 4 when viewing to the front again, which may be a tad dicey when turning to final. Hope this helps.

You might try editing the aircraft.cfg file:
[Views] eyepoint = -6.2, 0.00, 2.25
(the 3rd one, I believe in inches)
feet?
