Well I know this is getting quite bothersome with all my ups and downs, I thought that I should let everyone know that I have not yet left you all. We have been once again to Japan for over a month and of course the trip was great as usual. BUT the flights over and back keep getting longer, tougher and tougher every time now. I just don’t handle 32 hrs, bed to bed. At 85 I just wear out so dim fast. It makes me so dim mad that they won’t let me do much anymore. It’s OK though I can fly my simm more. I did do some flying on the simm over there as I took my joystick and put FS9, FSX on the lap top. I sure missed my yoke/pedals though. Just don’t do well with the joystick anymore, had to learn to fly the thing all over. That’s all from here for now. Glad to be back with you all. Hope everyone is getting along OK. Especially MR. Lou Ross. Man just hang in there. I am taking so many pills that I am a walking pharmacy. Think of ya all. Bud

Glad to hear you're doing ok. I sure wouldn't want to do one of those flights. These days any flight is a hassle but a long flight like that would real tough. When I was working I travelled a lot at first and then less as I got older and could make the aurgument that they should "send a young guy so he learns the ropes."
Any time I travelled I could hardly wait to get home. Now I don't leave it.

You actually went to Japan!? I'm a little behind/slow/out of it, so forgive me, but, "they wouldn't let you (something) anymore"- mmmm, wouldn't let you fly the plane??? Do you have two seperate CPU's there in the photo? Looks interesting. "Walking drugstroe"- good one, I like that one!! Interesting point there, Tom. I used to go anywhere every chance I got or invent an excuse to go even for a drive, now, I actually go downtown about once a year to listen to the symphony. Prefer to stay here. Lou.

Yea guys we, (The better half) go over to Japan twice a year. I usually only make one trip a year anymore, to rough on the old bod to do two. In the winter the snows are sometime very heavy and they won’t let up on the roof any more to shovel the snow off. Other things like they won’t let me drive over there on the wrong side of the road as if I can’t handle that. Hell I was driving on both sides of the road before any of them was born. As Tom says you have to keep active and lord knows I’m as active as the law allows. Yep when I was with Pan Am and flying back and forth every month I sometimes got to ride the jump seat up in the front office. Had a brief but great moment when I had a few minutes of hands on. No more. Bud
