Hi Urs! I am still curious about your scenery texture , especially on airfields.... so which addons do you use to get all these nice buildings and hangars and equipement? Cheers Thom (still working on my new boxcar) Hi Thom Sorry for late answer. I was in Berlin for a few days. Well, most of the scenerys I did by my self, using ADE and Instant Scenery, even Google Earth. Others, like YWOL or YPMQ its payware. I have to rush off again, but speak to you later. Chers Urs

Thanks to a lot of help from members, the Beverley is coming after all. Here at Salalah in Oman, with the Varsity. Taking an "Empire" route out. UK, Malta, Cyprus, Oman, Maldives, Singapore, Darwin.

Right another first for me.
This is my C-46 leaving Hay River in Canada's Northern territories on first leg to Yakutat on Alaska's west coast on the long flog out to OZ.
Apologies if the size is wrong but have to see if it works at all.

Sorry about the duplication above - tried to edit one out without success. Arrived safely in Alaska - co-pilot not too pleased about his accommodation in background - I'm off to hotel.

Thanks to Global Supply Systems at Stansted for the safe flight via WSSS in the 748 cargo hold. 9 hours later and here we are leaving Sydney on route to Wollongong to get acclimatised and drink the local grog before the competition starts. Bit of a thirst going on. Its flipping hot here. Time to lock her up (the plane not the wife.......although ) and head to the local watering hole See you all in the air and good luck to everyone.

One specially for Deltahotel. The Bev about to depart Seletar. Virtually all the instruments are "cut and paste". It works.

A couple of views of the Bev tucked well out of the way at Kununurra. Because of its size, we have our own push-back tractor on board. The black ball is part of the package, just something I have to carry around. In FS9 it's a globe of the Earth, but for some reason in FSX it's lost the texture, and I know nothing about amending .mdl files.

Nice shots of a block of flats rattler! In a previous life we may have sought the shade of that wing in a desert ... soon learned not to stand anywhere near a dripping Centaurus (rotor blades were seriously lacking in the shade department). Hope you have enough oil on board for topping up in the outback.

Very true Deltahotel, and landing it is like landing your house looking out of the bathroom window. If Andrew will allow a little thread creep, here's one you'll recognise.
