Had to reload after a web sight I visited had a virus. I did not loose everything but FSX would not load properly ,so erased all and started over. Problem , Microsoft does not support it , I try to register the code and can not get through to anyone. So I am stuck with it running the trial version program allowing only 30 minutes run time. Glad I finished the GAAR1016 Flights before it happened . Is there a way to get around it ,or am I going back to FS2004 . I will miss the better sceneries an soaring abilities

I'd have a squint round the ~bfsim forum (the key between x and v is not working on this kruddy pk) - as a last resort keep an eye out for steam sales at about £5. They are fairly regular.
I seem to remember some talk about removing registry keys so that a "first load" is seen by FSX.

Got to get my FSX running as FS9(2004) will be getting fazed out of rallies, and other events . I also miss the glide flights an toe plane , and the better scenery. Now to get it installed an see if a call to MICROSOFT will get it going. Will miss all my aircraft and custom panels.

We will continue to allow the use of FS9 in rallies, not least because FSX gives me the gips every time it runs out of memory on machines with gigabytes of spare capacity. Having a bolt hole in FS9 helps my blood pressure no end.
Being no fan of VCs on anything bigger than a Piper Cub is another of my quirks. You may be pleasantly surprised how many aircraft can be transferred without too much effort.
Good luck with Microsoft!

Thanks ALLAN. I have read that the FSX Steam is more computer friendly.Yet having an old computer I would go crazy having the thing shut down on final after a hour or two flight. I'll try FSX and if I can get it registered so it does not shut down after 20 minutes . I'll give it a go , BUT first time it crashes the program I have two sets of FS2004 on the shelf! Let's face it I just learned to post screen shots...

Hi David. I recently loaded my 9 yr old FSX on my new up to date rig, and had no problem. Just filled in the product key when asked and everything loaded and activated smoothly. I have the deluxe edition, and the 25 digit product key is displayed on a label inside the game box with two installation DVD's. I have installed it on two other computers since the original installation back in 2008. First installation on XP, then 8.1 and now 10. Each one used the same product key, and installed without a hitch. Couldn't even tell it was going to Microsoft for activation.
I am a major fan of FSX and hope you get yours running quickly.
Steve

I read on some forum or other, so it must be true, that registrations that are more than six months apart are accepted by the logging system as "new" installations due to hardware upgrades.
I think the software allows two or three re-installations within that timespan to allow for issues on one PC. Any more in the 6 month slot and it assumes that the Microsoft gnomes are still snoozing next to the phone ready and waiting for you.

FSX is a flight simulator x product key crack. Product keys consist of number or letters. FSX is the first verson product key series that released on DVD media.
