Some more Portugal hops in the BGA Howard 500 in FSX and Win 8.1. Only had to change out the spinning props, otherwise one of the better port overs into FSX. This is a very crisp and good looking paint job - better than most of the conversions. Others lack clarity.
Tchau Y'all.

Hi Fran, Well they did not have GPS back then, it was all dead reckoning and celestial navigation. Kingsford Smith had a 3 man crew for the Pacific flight, Charles Ulm was the second crew member whom my Grandmother actually new. They flew the plane from San Fransisco to Honolulu for the first hop then Honolulu to Fiji and landed on a beach as there were no airports in Fiji in those days. Next hop was from Fiji to Brisbane Australia completing the first Pacific Ocean crossing and opening it up to what we have today. If you are interested just look up Charles Kingsford Smith on the Internet. Cheers Rob

Good to see you are happily back in the air Fran. Computer problems have kept me grounded and dumb but I am on a borrowed one to have a look around and say Hi !

I think these are textures from Rex Essential + and some free ones. there are some ways to improve for free - Jordan King has made a guide for it Links to certain sites are in the description www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUDrRR-VW-U
