I am up early trying to track the flights of Obama and Biden. They are supposed to give a joint speech today in Springfield, IL at noon. So I am checking KSPI from KMDW and KILG as well as activity at KILG and KMDW. I have not seen anything yet. Wonder if FlightAware will be able to track their flights. They should at least get Biden's. The Secret Service may have a lid on Obama's. Not sure if he's going to Chicago first or to Springfield.
I think I found the aircraft. There was a NetJets Hawker 800 that flew into New Castle, DE, (KILG) last night at 7:33pm from Chicago Midway. It has not departed and is not on the schedule yet for departure today. Net Jets do not sit idle for very long. It only takes 1:28 to fly from KMDW to KILG.

That Hawker was not it. This one has to be it. It's a Gulfstream 4 due to leave New Castle (KILG) at 10:55 EDT and arrive at Springfield (KSPI) at 11:40 am CDT. It was moved from New Philadelphia in the early morning. It is PWA444, owned by Priester Aviation.

Maybe Obama's jet was VFR.
;D
Gulfstream. Of course. If I were a big-time candidate, I'd insist on nothing less.
