Bluegrass Airlines Charter Flight Plan
BGAK091-110220
MISC:
I confess, I don’t always complete a full flight plan, but for my first flight with Bluegrass Airlines I thought I would do the whole thing. I really enjoy FS planning almost as much as FS flying.
I drove this trip yesterday for an Eagles Wings Band concert.
We don’t have a bus, so 11 of us went in a “caravan” of 4 vehicles.
FYI - My red and white C-208B has the registry number N4031E based on the band’s Bible verse (Isaiah 40:31 – Wings as Eagles), so it is usually the “Eagles Wings Caravan”.
ALSO - I’ve granted myself a virtual waiver for FAR part 23 so I can use up to 14 seats in the Grand Caravan.
CHARTER NARRATIVE:
Eagles Wings Band (total of 11 on board - 8 adults, 3 children) charter from Tuscaloosa AL to an off-airport landing at Union Grove AL and RETURN
Union Grove is located near near where Alabama Highway 69 crosses the Sipsey Fork of the Black Warrior River just below Smith Lake Dam.
(NAVAID = VUZ Vulcan VOR (114.4) 336 radial 17 DME)
This will be an OFF AIRPORT operation, with landing on SR-69 as close as possible to the bridge over Sipsey Fork.
PROPOSED NAV LOG:
