I do a fortnightly MP session with a bunch of fellow nut cases (mostly English types, with Welsh, Swedish and the odd Scotsman thrown in for good measure). We take turns in coming up with routes that involve a series of T&G's over the course and a flying time of about 2.5 hrs. We use Skype for group comms and basically it starts at a low level, joking around, taking the mickey, and general mayhem and degenerates from there.
Either way, we have a craicing great time. Sometimes the flying becomes secondary. Watching someone suddenly stall and take a nosedive because they were too busy talking and not paying attention to their speed is a hoot, the least of which is the reaction at the point of realisation.
It might be a chance to rekindle some MP sessions Allan.

We have received an invite from DC-3 Airways (see a copy of the email below) to participate in a series of MP sessions based on the Berlin Airlift series. I have replied to Glen and will post updates as they come to hand.
If you haven't explored MP sessions before, they are great fun and not difficult to be a part of.

I recently received the sad newsl from the daughter of Lyle Hasty informing us of his passing. Whilst Lyle isn't on our current Roster some of you may know or remember Lyle from the earlier days of Bluegrass Airlines. Rest in peace.
Regards Andrew

Lou, Two of the most practical enhancements include the ability to embed YouTube videos within a post and uploading files to posts. With the video capability, this means you can view the video within the Forum environment. The new version also allows for an extra level within the boards. This will mean the current sub-boards and topics can be organised and grouped better and will allow a more logical structure. An example would be to group all the various current GAAR sub-boards as sub-sub-boards under a generic GAAR sub-board heading. Other enhanced capabilities relate to the administrator functions. From a user perspective, these include having colour themes, thus providing a better look and feel for the Forum. I'm still yet to get my head around all the features, but if you want a more comprehensive summary, go to the ProBoards web site at the link below. proboards.com/free-forum-featuresCheers Andrew

And a touch of the coming southern winter, Allan. Hopefully I'm an early starter and that's it for me for winter bugs.

Sometime over the period 29 Apr 13 to 29 May 13, the Forum software will be upgraded to ProBoards Ver. 5. The most obvious change will be a new, modern look and feel, similar to other forums. The upgrade will also provide enhanced capabilities, but I dare say the majority of us will not explore these enhancements
The Forum structure, however, will remain the same and so you shouldn't have any problems finding your favourite topics and threads.
I have taken some small liberties in changing the old "FS2004" and "BGA" category and board titles to "Flight Simulators, FS Blogs, General & Other" and "Bluegrass Airlines" respectively, to more accurately reflect the content and then reordered the categories with the "Bluegrass Airlines" category at the top. The thread and post structure under these titles remains the same so I hope this is not too confusing.
Cheers Andrew
