Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Helluva year, 2018. Here's hoping the forum is slightly busier in 2019, which will be my 20th anniversary here. In the fall of 1999 this forum was part of a larger general flight simulator site, saved by Bill and Tom and others when the mother-site went tits-up.

Merry Christmas , to Sim Aviators around the globe. 2019, I hope I cam finish it, going to try. Health is bad. I look at the forums everyday ,for years now , and like the entry numbers in the rallies ,they are fewer and fewer. Lets face it, few younger people want to take the time to set and fly routes , when they can play on there phones. I hope Virtual Airlines can survive as I have spent years enjoying flying for Bluegrass ,will try to keep going in 2019.

I blame Microsoft and Lockheed Martin more than generational effects. First there's MS shuttering FS, then there's the stillbirth that was MS Flight. Finally, you have Lockheed Martin charging $200 for what is basically an upgraded version of FSX.

Must say you have a good point , Plus if your like me , can't afford to buy a new computer every time a new Simulation comes out or a new version of Windows.
