The Scottish Highlands is a hoplist from Bluegrass Airlines, from 2017. I don't know how long it will take to make this journey but I will try to complete it in British Aircraft, and British Commonwealth aircraft. Our journey will be in X-Plane 11 using ORBX True Earth airport and country scenery. We begin by driving to Dundee Airport (EGPN) just about ready to turn left off of A85 Riverside Dr. into the airport. There is a busy railroad track between the road and the trees on the right. The DH-1 DeHavilland Chipmunk will take us to a few airports at the beginning of this journey. This model is by Khamsin Studios Ready to depart Dundee Airport Highway A92 crosses the River Tay on the bridge at the furthest distance while the bridge closer to the airport is the Tay Rail Bridge. It looks to me like the Tay River is at low tide stage. Approach to EGQL Leuchars RAF airport. This is located along the River Eden And the approach to nearby Fife Airport EGPJ. There were a few wind turbines to avoid on this approach. After a break here at Fife we will move on to Edinburgh and Cumbernauld. Cheers

The Scottish Highlands is a hoplist from Bluegrass Airlines, from 2017. I don't know how long it will take to make this journey but I will try to complete it in British Aircraft, and British Commonwealth aircraft. Our journey will be in X-Plane 11 using ORBX True Earth scenery. Still flying a DeHavilland Chipmunk. Departing Fife and noting the wind turbines which had to be avoided on the approach to EGPJ, Fife Edinburgh EGPH is the first stop on today's trip and crossing the Firth of Forth, just a few miles from the airport. are three bridges. The closest bridge is a rail bridge called the Forth Bridge. The center bridge is the Forth Road Bridge, part of the A9000. And the farthest is the Queensferry Crossing Bridge, for the busy M90. Approaching Rwy 30 at EGPH Departing Rwy 24 at Edinburgh, a major international airport, and recently the busiest airport in Scotland, UK. Turning to heading 282 towards Cumbernauld Scotland. Not too far up the Firth of Forth is Grangemouth Refinery, the only crude oil refinery in Scotland. Cumbernauld Airport, EGPG, ahead lining up for Rwy 8. Notice the deserted runway parallel to Rwy 8. Someone has been doing some up-grading at this airport. Next on this Scottish Highlands Tour will be Glasgow and Prestwick. It will be interesting to see if the ORBX scenery models lots of golf courses along the rail line between Prestwick and the City of Glasgow. Cheers.
