Andrew,
As I've been watching the news, I've been keeping our Australian friends in my thoughts.
Sorry about your granparents home and the losses suffered by your cousing, but am happy to hear that they are alright.

Bill, Alex, Bud, Paul, et al,
Personally and on behalf of all those affected, thank you all for your thoughts. It certainly has, and is continuing to be an unbelievable situation that will touch many in some way, shape or form.
I am also concerned now for an Australian based GAAR participant who was reporting regularly up until Saturday.

Mike,
I was wondering what happened to you. I hope the new machine is bigger, better and faster.
We look forward to seeing you next year.

Great Rally ,now looking at the results of leg 18 and the scores so far, even the new comers are flying great percentages, and I'm thankful I do not have to sort out the divisions for AWARDS. Good luck and looking forward to the next GAAR.

A great Rally, organised with good humour, patience, openness and common sense.
You'll never make a politician Andrew! Thanks to you and the team for a marathon effort.
Now, what to fly next year.......'Ornet, 'Urricane, 'Alifax.....

I dunno about that there Al. ...organised with good humour, patience, openness and common sense. Sounds very much like Australia Bit like the gaff our Prime Minister spake a few weeks ago on prime time tv to a nation of 21 million …我們可以期待通常政治糞戰鬥… he quickly corrected himself, as the audience laughed and the host of said tv show blushed. Then all of a sudden, it was back to politics !! thats what the GAAR is all about Top Job Andrew Id vote for ya... (well maybe in the preferences,)

Yes, great show again Andrew. Hopefully, I will fly again in 2010. One other nice thing about the GAAR is it give you a nice starting point for an adventurous loooooooong home flight! At least for us foreigners... Cheers to all participants. ;D

My first GAAR, and I really had fun. Great job, Andrew. I'll definitely be back next year. But what to fly?

Yes Andrew, you deserve a gong for a job very well done.
One or two of us are on the edge of our seats awaiting the final count and, as a contender, I'd like to acknowledge what a great job Alberto, Comrade Zlogg and Allan did. Flying quicker aircraft means more precision needed. While I have been having a relaxed time dawdling around the West kicking cans, that trio have been biting my backside all the way. Good work and good fun.
Next year I'll fly a blimp !
