Southern Sweden Hop BGA Flight January 24, 2022 Flight from ESKA to ESSK in an Aerosoft DHC-6-300 Twin Otter, wheeled passenger version (beta) Lift off about 1 mile north of ESKA. Still snow on the ground and low lying mist in the air  Just a few minutes after nine AM  Classy and classic office in the Twin Otter  I heard that some airlines fly empty flights just to keep their landing slots open  Descending to ESSK  Snow covered, almost visible, destination runway ahead  Shutting down at ESSK with one engine already off.   I'll take off from here for the next leg which should be to ESVS.  |

Southern Sweden Hops Bluegrass Airlines Flight January 30, 2022 Flight from ESSK to ESVS in a Britten Norman Islander. Purchased from the Microsoft Marketplace MFS 2020. Just lifted off from ESSK  Brrr ... lots of snow and frozen lakes and rivers, and did I mention snow? At least the skies were clear.   On approach to ESVS (Siljansnas)  A little runway showing through the snow here at ESVS  Just got the baton message that it is time to stop.   This leg is finished. See you next month. |
