Southern Sweden Hop BGA Flight Feb 09, 2022 Flying in a Diamond Aircraft DA-62 (Microsoft Asobo Studios) ESVS to ESNR. Getting ready for an early morning take off, in the front office.  Ice is breaking up on this lake below   Looks like the ESNR -- Orsa airport has been removing runway snow a little beetter than some other area runways.  Safe and Sound - looking forward to the next leg.  Cheers |

Southern Sweden Hop BGA Flight Feb 11, 2022 Flying in a Zlin Aviation Savage Cub (Asobo Studios) ESNR (Orsa) to ESKD (Dala-Jarna). On arrival, two days earlier there had been snow on the ground. It must have really warmed up because the snow was no where to be seen, as I began the next leg   But (sound of the buzzer) about 15 minutes into the flight the real weather kicked in. Airport below was not my destination.  Back to the snow and ice....  ESKD ahead and to the left.    Almost there  "X" marks the spot to shut off the engine.   Next leg is to ESKH and I believe there is new snow in the forecast. Cheers |

Southern Sweden Hop BGA Flight Feb 11, 2022 Flying in a Cessna 208 EX Grand Caravan (Asobo Studios) ESKD (Dala-Jarna) to ESKH (Eksharad) The flight begins and the weather advisory is for low clouds and some snow.     Spent some time in the clouds and icing was a problem, as evident on the windscreen.  ESKH had not cleaned up the grass runway yet. Was able to set the plane down in the vicinity of the nunway.   The VFR map shows that I am on the runway.  I took a chance and taxied out onto the river "ice". I did not fall through but the snow was up to the top of my wheels.  I'll come back here when it is warmer to see what happens without the ice. Next up will be a trip to Karlstad (ESOK) Cheers |

Southern Sweden Hop BGA Flight Feb 13, 2022 Flying in a Cub Crafter NX Cub ESKH (Eksharad) to ESOK (Karlstad) Definitely still heavy snow clouds, but it was a wintery mix, with some rain.   ESOK ahead   The ramp is wet too, and the snow on the grass seems to be melting.  It looks weird to see a Cub with a nose wheel.  Cheers |
