I am begining a new AirVenture called "High Plains to Rockies" Hoplist. This is the March 2022 hoplist from Bluegrass Airlines. This hoplist begins in South Dakota and will end in Montana, passing through Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming. I was hoping this plan would take me into Idaho, (close to BGA's idahoflyer, Allen). I may just detour to Idaho, following Interstate 90, from Montana to KCOE in northern Idaho.

I hope to complete this hoplist using MSFS 2020. My first flight is KHON (Huron Regl) to 9D0 (Highmore Muni), with the second hop to KPIR (Pierre Regl).

Hop 1 will be in a Diamond Aircraft DA-62 and Hop 2 in a Zlin & Gravel Savage Grravel (extra large tundra tires).

AirVenture begins at Huron Regl. Both hops flown on April 15th.

Wow, Steve, if you could fill those tires with hydrogen you would really have an air ship!

You are right Allen, an airship. I was surprised that the plane didn't bounce much on landing, and it was quick to raise the tailwheel if you taxied too quickly. Once I got it trimmed it was easy to fly.

The AirVenture called "High Plains to Rockies" Hoplist continues from KPIR, Pierre SD, and the SD part of the trip will end at KHSR (Hot Springs Muni). But I will take a detour to look for Mt. Rushmore before I post all the pictures. The hoplist pictures will not include the first 2 small airports - SD30 and SD66 are not included in MSFS 2020 and I didn't see them on the satellite image of where they are supposed to be, nor were they in Little Navmap. But they are in my P3D where the flight plan was created.

I have been to (2 day visit including Mt Rushmore) South Dakota one time in my life, but I don't remember all the interesting hills and valleys and other terrain features in SD. It is quite a beautiful place to be.
