Idaho Bound amd beginning the flight time in my Mooney Ovation from Carenado through the MSFS 2020 Marletplace. Starting out in the Mooney as I depart Bert Mooney airport in Butte Montana.. I will be following highway 90 into Idaho at Coeur d'Alene. Once I get to Pappy Boyington Field I hope to do some flight-seeing in Idaho. Departing KBTM Bert Mooney....  Heading to Bowman 3U3   3U3 behind and 38S ahead.  Highway 90 Northwest bound should be my frequent companion  38S Deer Lodge-City-County ahead   My next stop Gold Creek 2MT9. It was at the top of a small hill (and a few homes and narrow dirt road along the hilltop), but I never found the grass runway. Was able to put the Ovation down on the ground long enough to look around and take this picture....  Departing 2MT9 for final leg to Drummond M26  Another grass strip which I found after I had made another off target landing. Here I am at the edge of the strip.  My next flight is to Eliott Field, Missoula Int'l, and Mineral Co. |
