Where the GAAr meets the GAFA. enroutre Newman Low cloud on approach, Newman There's the runway, but we're too high. Must get full flap down, but that means a speed reduction, ah well, the timing was only a target. Shutdown at Newman. Why the Blood Wagon? My landing wasn't THAT bad... was it?

7th leg .... biiiiiiiiiiiiig country,....from Derby with spectacular view to Telfer across the red desert landscape had to fix my camera after all the wet and humid weather and put on a new lense with polaroid filter.... glad to have some spare parts in my boxcar,...lol...enough place to take an elephant with us,...lol... but seriously, nice place to sleep and have room enough,...thats what I love most of my old bird,..... just a wonderful morning and bright sunshine a new day a new flight my bird from his best side.... always nice to look back.... nice few there we go.... feeling free some have to stay.... wonderful place view back to airstrip new camera is working nicely all the instruments..... from one land to the other red desert both engines working smooth.... where is all the red color coming from? entering mars? some billabongs as a fantastic contrast.... could not believe there would be an airstrip.... nicely tuned in.... unbelievable.... breathtaking view

leg 8 from Telfer to Newman some guts and bumps for my old bird and a crablanding at the end made it funny.... full power just an unbelievable place..... one day,....we will be back.... bumpy flight we cannot see if anybody is near the billabongs from this height, but we think of taking a bath... endless heat target in sight unbelievable places with water....after all this desert hey,...crosswinds,....crablanding ahead... finally some rest surprisingly no real problems,...so far,...the bird is fantastic some fuel for the engines and.... some cold beer for us and an open door to ventilate the cargo room....deep sigh....
