Tornado, the first steam locomotive to be built in the UK for 50 years, came through Southampton yesterday heading the "Cathedrals Express" excursion, on her first run out of London. Unlike most fans who got the closeup view from stations or bridges enroute, I watched her side-on from across the River Itchen. That steam plume was enormous!

Hi, the 'Tornado' is a coal burner I would guess...18 years to build and she looks beautiful. I typed 'Tornado Steam Engine ' into Google and then images came up with a whole series of pictures. I think this may be a link to their site. www.a1steam.com/Andy.
