If you haven't discovered them already the second tab of the control setup has "sensitivity" adjustments. Like FS it has it's warts but it's fun. I love the water effects.

Hi Brett, Been using the local map to fly(IOS) .Have you found a flight planner to use.?If so were to you load the plans in X-Plane.? Bob There is a xmovmap program at www.scumari.nl/www/xplane/manual/main.htmlThat seems to be pretty nice. No fancy terrain. I haven't had a chance to do much except run it and add start/destination and waypoints. I really haven't found a good planner. Goodway is the big name but the demo doesn't let you do much so I didn't bother with buying it as I wasn't happy with it. SuperFlight Planner will export to X-Plane format. the problem is that you then have to have a flight system to feed the info into and the DC-3 doesn't. X-Plane's standard GPS is also a one waypoint at a time. I imagine the planner and GPS situation will change now that FS is dead. I've only flown the DC-3 in X-Plane as I haven't had time to get the Electra fired up. I generally use SuperFlight to plan the flight, print it out and then I set my ADF and VORs up and fly them. If I have time I'll put the next waypoint in the GPS. With the Electra it may have a FMS system.

Bob You're welcome. I've been switching to the Location-Local map sometimes to check on where I'm going - like I do with FS to check it's map. Which DC-3 are you flying?

Good news: from the DCA X-plane forum. have stumbled upon XPUIPC, a freeware plugin for the x-plane. It operates like FSUIPC and with it I was able to connect my X-Plane to FSCommander. Things looks promising. It can be found at the thread below. You will have to register to the forum at www.mycockpit.org/ to be able to download it. I believe that you only need the file: XPUIPC Package 1.0.zip www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14896&page=6&highlight=XPUIPC Just installed it and it works fine with FSC
