Hi,
Have flown some of the legs now and have had issues when turning left from CWS VOR on the approach to Philip Island. Have a new VOZ 1.8 installed and the sim freezes for about a minute then carries on and shows some litterally "destroyed" textures!
The instrument penal in currupted and the MAP view is then showing over the panel and there are wierd textures all over the place! I have GE Pro and Ultimate Terrain installed US, Canada, Alaska and Europe installed and FSGenesis terrain - but I have installed VOZ well above these and there are no issues on the start of the first leg out of YMEN.
I UnVozzed back to normal and still had issues - so I disabled the VOZ scenery and its all ok again.
Anyone using FS9 and VOZ for this year's GAAR? Any issues?
Here's hoping that Andrew got my Registration in time anyway!
cheers,
Lee

Lee,
See my comments on page 8 of the official site. Seems I'm not the only one having trouble with the bunyips. I've had no trouble anywhere else, except north of Darwin (last year and this), so I'm wondering if it's something to do with being near the edge of the VOZ scenery display for Australia.
regards, Rattler

Hey Rattler,
I have added to your post on page 8, rather than keep this one going. Its a pity about this - means I'll have to disable for at least one part of Oz.
Cheers,
Lee

Jean, You have confirmed my suspicions, but as for checking my "memories", that would imply I know what I'm talking about . In some instances I have had a windows pop-up mention something about not being able to read a file. I have re-installed the latest video drivers for my graphics card, but this doesn't seem to have any affect. It is strange that it only happens when using non default aircraft and VOZ. Anyway maybe this the excuse I need for that 1GB graphics card and bigger and faster CPU ;D.

Curious one, I've just gone over the latter part of that route in the MAAM DC3, which I really must enter next year, without encountering a problem. But I know that Rattler has also hit some Voz issues elsewhere along the track. It's a pity as it is a great scenery enhancement, although the way it affects standard scenery elsewhere in the world can be irritating - red roads in Alaska last year. Now off to practise telling SWMBO "Jean and Andrew say I have to get a better video card." Flak jackets will be worn.
