I can't watch the video becaue my machine is too slow. But consider this: everything you describe is like helicopter technology in the 1930's. It took 20 years from that stage to the working helicopters of Korea (eg- "Mash").
While trying to make such a copter move "forward", they discoverd you had to change the blade angle of a forward-moving blade compared to a backward-moving blade. After that everything got very complicated.
FS9 helicopters aren't perfect but they are interesting and show many features of real helicopter flight. Don't know anything about FSX helicopters. Doubt if they solved all the tech problems. I like to fly FS9 helicopters every once in a while. They can't do hover well or autorotations but otherwise they're not bad.

An amazing machine Bud and I can see a lot of commerial application for the design. It would be a very noisy beast when scaled up though. Even so I think it has a great future. Ed

Maybe a military application for that machine to do enemy observation if you could figure out a way to reduce the noise.
