Using Bud's Recorder/Viewer « on: Sep 25th, 2007, 3:54pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used my Aerobat to fly four aerobatic sequences that I recorded on the Flight Video Recorder. I used Bud's Recorder/Viewer to get the text data files that can be read by Excel. Unfortunately, to follow what is happening in most of them requires quite a bit of graphical processing that will be difficult to show here. But in Sequence 2 I did a series of fast rolls that can be shown here both in a photo and in graphical form. First the photo: Then the graphs: Each complete roll takes a little more than a second. I think the photo was taken at about 55.5 seconds. I could send anyone the test files but its more fun if you do them yourself. I ran the recorder in each case for about 90 seconds. This made files - on my system - of about 1000 rows. Recording interval was 1 second. To get a copy of Bud's Recorder, contact Bud's Bud. It is a great tool for understanding what is going on in a flight.
