Here are "a few interesting approaches" in Alaska, from the infamous aviation book, "A Few Interesting Approaches" by whats-his-name: 1) Z41 (Lk Hood Strip) - OAK6, to land straight-in on RW11, due to wind. 2) Z41 - PAWR, to land straight-in on RW03, due to wind. 3) Z41 - KGZ, to land straight-in from the valley that you approach from. Oh, just as a suggestion, you might not want to use the Lear, unless it's had a mod or two. ;D You might want to check out the routes on you GPS thingy and see if you can find a few photos before you actually fly the routes. I didn't, and made at least one go-around at each field, one of them was pretty hairy. lr.
