Dear AVSIM File Library User,
You may have recently read, or heard, that AVSIM will shortly open its new web site. There are a tremendous number of new features and functions that we are confident will add considerably to your AVSIM experience. One of the most important changes that will soon be opened is the File Library system. We are very excited about the new library system. We are confident that you will find the library to be head and shoulders above anything you have seen in the flight simulation community to date.
One of the goals we set for the new forums and library were that they be unified in terms of user ID and passwords. We have succeeded in implementing that. The UID and PW you use in the forum, will also be used in the new library system. When we bring the library online, you will have to have be registered in the forums. You don't have to use the forums if you do not wish to do so, but you need to use the forums registration process to gain access to the library. This will finally provide you with the benefit of one UID and PW for these two popular areas of AVSIM.
