The DC-7 (calclassics) in 1968 to Biafra. Remember? The ramp at Sao Tome Cruzen at 4,500 so. of Leopolville. Staying low hoping to avoid Nigerian Migs; shortly we'll drop down to the deck and follow the Nigerian River Delta up to Annabel Field, close to Uli. No photos- too busy flying! Lining up fpr the make-shift strip to unload material for the Biafra Relief. Probably food, medicine, and Bibles- can't confirm as we aren't allowed to open the crates. We also usually have a few pax on board- they don't talk to us and don't seem to be very friendly.

Which connie is that Bill?
I think our December Feature is flying the L-749 connie for Quantas Empire Airways from Australia to London.

Go to Flightsim and search for L-049 and it will come up. I had to add the Braniff texture and I also changed the view looking at the left wing in the acft cfg file. Also increased the rate of climb from 100 to 1000 fpm. I really like this bird.

Bill, this is an L-749 that I got from Flightsim, file name is LOCKHEED749.zip. It has a virtual cockpit. I modified the panel a little bit to a more modern AP.
