I want one. The cockpit looks amazing. How much are they?

The blurb mentions around $130,000 and when I save up 2/3rds I'll see if I still want one. Do you think they'll sell to a 100yo?

Touche Bud, the roles are reversed, I am eagerly awaiting my advice of despatch. Hey what a great looking gadget, the only thing it lacks is tundra tyres, a bit of a problem finding room for them. Ed

Well, while you are waiting to save up $89K you might try downloading an Icon A5 from AvSim. I can't remember the exact file name - just do a search for *icon*.zip. It's only for FSX with FSX_sp1 and FSX_sp2. If you need to install FSX_sp2 be sure and reade the download instructions. I have just taken a flight from KCOE north to an air strip, landed, and the flew back to land on the lake. It seems to fly pretty good, I need to check it out some more. It only has a VC panel which works OK (I prefer a 2D panel). The gauges are hard to read and you really need to read the Pilots Manual (included) to understand how to work them. I'm thinking about making a 2d panel...

Very pretty. Looks a bit like the answer to the question: "What do you get if you cross a Republic Seabee with a Portsmouth Aviation Aerocar?" - see portav.co.uk/Downloads/PAAerocar.pdf I know the wings fold, but you'll need a pretty wide chimney for Santa to get one of these down it.
