My college German's a little rusty but I think this is somewhere near Stuttgart and has a busy sailplane contingent. Either way, it's beautiful.

Good find Joe. What a fascinating area with quite a lot of those flat topped hills around. there are even complete towns on some of them. There is a very good definition image on Google Earth at 48 23.14N 009 04.56E imaged on New Years Day last year. Worth a look.
