G'day Everyone, The Australian Division Forum has been created for all matters pertaining specifically to the Division's operations. This will include information and details on future plans, activities and events for the Division and a home for Division related comments and suggestions. General announcements will still be posted in the News Forum but the details can be discussed here. Regards

As part of the ongoing development of the Australian Division, schedules for the Dutch East Indies have been added. These schedules are based on the historical schedules flown by Royal Dutch East Indies Airways (KNILM) up to the outbreak of World War II and the Japanese invasion. The development of schedules for Dutch New Guinea, based on the historical schedules of De Kroonduif (NNGLM), are well advanced and I hope to have them added to the website this week. Regards

In line with the development of the flight schedules for the Dutch East Indies, Dutch New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia, I will be progressively restructuring the established routes in the interests of consistency. This will involve a move from the current operating aircraft type approach to a more traditional sector and route structure, by region. Hopefully, this will make the schedules easier to follow and enjoy. Another subtle amendment associated with this will be a change to the Flight Numbers so as to better manage future expansions. Regards

Let me extend a big "Aussie" welcome to Hayden Lynch (BGAD058) who recently joined us. If you see Hayden around, I'm sure you will make him feel very much at home. And while I'm at it, a welcome back to Barry Theodore (BGAD012) who returns after a minor absence. Barry, I hope you enjoy some of the improvements in the Division. « Last Edit: Mar 16th, 2008, 1:10am by Andrew Godden »
