I found a site today that I would like to emulate on the sim Have a look: www.greatarcticairadventure.com/RouteMapGoogle/index.htmlI thinks it's very informative and educational as well as entertaining, would anyone be interested it tackling this trip? I'll try to stay as true to their plan as possible and I would like to attempt this in a multiplayer environment. It's quite lengthy and I wouldn't expect try and complete it as quick as possible, just an ongoing multiplayer event. What do you guys think? Stuart BGAN035

Well that looks like a very cool flight to coin a phrase I will give it a go Stu - although as you say it should be an on going thing not raced around just to get it done. Maybe two flights a week would be good, doing maybe 2 hops each time. Sounds like fun cheers

You have got something started now Stuart. There is a group of pilots, myself included, and Stuart, that are doing this trip on the westcoast server. We like to do it a little at a time and some of us are running FSpassengers at the same time.It is an enjoyable jaunt and will take some time to do.There are no time constraints and you can do as much or as little as you like. The only requisite is that it be flown in a DHC2 Amphibian or Float Plane,as this is what they are using in reality.Anyone can join at any time and I am sure there will always be someone who will be willing to join you for the flights.I have already done 3 legs and would be willing to do them again if anyone so desired company. The scenery is quite delightful and the Glacier Bay Scenery (available at Avsim (glbayv2?.zip) comes in 2 parts)enhances the experience greatly. If anyone would like more info just ask Stuart or Hawg (N188FW) or myself. If required there is also a Flightplan for FSNav under construction (this could take a while to complete as it is a very complex project, but the first 3 days flights are already completed). The entire journey has taken over 40 days to complete in reality so we can expect it to take a couple of months or more to do in Flight Sim.
