I just came from Avsim where I was casually looking for a current HondaJet or a Phenom 300. It looks like they no longer give out any freeware aircraft. Is that right? I could not find any way of getting to their free download section. If so that's a darn shame. I have never bought any aircraft because every aircraft I have ever downloaded needed some work to make it fly correctly (true to specs).
Well, I have more aircraft than I have time to fly anyway so I should not complain. My only problem with Avsim is that I have a few aircraft on that site that I designed from scratch - both the FD's and the geometric design. They cannot be sold legally by anyone; they are strictly giveaways. So where are they? (They fly well but they do not have opening doors like people have come to expect though they give you your money's worth.)
(I'm still so busy seeing doctors that I have not flown more legs of Ed's Grand Tour. I also am bothered by the new lack of ethics of doctors and hospitals. My doctor and/or hospital posted my diagnoses for commercial companies to see. I get calls from all kinds of shysters who want to sell me junk. What a World!)

Ah - patience glasshopper, as they used to say.
The makeover seems to have done a great job of hiding the library front door. Go about half way along the top menu and a drop down menu under file library takes you to the old familiar search menu.
Nothing like hiding the light under the proverbial bushel.
There again you could pop over to flightsim and a search under fs2004 for "honda" not only gives you Honda Jet but also a Honda NSX to get to the airport in. I think a search for camsim and phenom will bring up the embraer.
Nine files refer to you on the avsim search.

Thanks for the help. Evidently they want to hide the free stuff.
The latest Honda web site for the real version shows they are re-thinking the engine support geometry. I could never see any value in their quirky design. It will probably look like all the other twin light jets in a few months.
