This may be a great advert AGAINST active noise-canceling headsets. It's the only explanation for the pilot's failure to heed the warning, clearly audible until they touchdown.
This must be one of the worst feelings in the world. The backseat pax filmed the vid. First, there's the look the front seat pax turns and gives to the pilot, and then the look on the pilot's face as he gets out of the plane and looks it over.
