If you read the Autopilot Section in the Learing Center it talks about the DC-3 autopilot and should be enough to get you started.

Nope! I have no problem navigating in modern planes. The problem I'm having is using the navigation equipment on the very old DC-3 The DC-3 is an OLD Aircraft and the Navigation equipment is very different then the modern planes I usually fly. I have never used World War II navigation instruments. I need to find somewhere that I can learn how to use this very old world war II radio equipment. I hope this makes my problem clear. Hi Bill: That Navigation Panel for the DC-3 looks like something I'd like to have. My problem is I do not know how to down load stuff like that. Is it difficult for someone that does not know how to download panels like this? Hobbit (bgak013)

No, its pretty much automatic.
I have to go out soon, but when I get back I'll turn on teamspeak and we can talk our way through it.
In the meantime download the file.
I should be on teamspeak around 7:30pm.

Had a great flight today. Flew from Boston, MA. (KBOS) to Chicago, IL. (KORD) in the DC-3. Nice plane. Bill Sennet flew most of the way with me and he took a couple of pic's.
Kenny (bgak045) also flew part of the way. I had a eally great time. Landed at KORD after sunset.... That's always a beautiful sight. Later....

I don't think they'll have any problem with an R4D, or any other member of the DC-3 family (except, probably, for the turprop conversions and the XCG-17 glider).
