Nice one, Rich. Doesn't it give you that warm, fuzzy feeling? Nice panel BTW, what aircraft? Rattler

some impressions about leg# 4 (YMOC to YHOT) No blue moon today - my tent is wet - my plane smells muggy - the sky is overcast and it's raining - shall I stay at "Desaster Beach"? - This is not Australian summer.. Non - je pars! "the Junior's P&W starting" it's not all smoke" - a huge water fountain comes along! guess - in IFR - I rather think of a cosy environment, then flying in such conditions.. heavy crosswind on final (YHOT) - fly the plane! on gound - target time: 49.34 / flighttimer shows: 49.72 In Switzerland we say: "das isch en hammer!" taxing in and looking for a dry Hangarplace.. Marshallers arm-waving, sudden halt! - no space in the barn - occupied by GAAR 2010 Pilot's Airplane. Where are they?

Rattler Well the plane is one of those home made job. Default DC-3 with no VC and the cockpit texture by Roy Chaffin FS2000 R4D. I imported Charles Owen DC-3C FD and panel And moved thing round a little. Has a hight and low panel. I also used it in Maam r4d. Budsbud The Gauge is called Nav-Info by Edi Hirsch. AVSIM (Give you a list of nearby VOR's, NDB's, Intersections and Airports by clicking into the menu linie. Then you can select frequencies and send them to your equipment) I took off from Ibura Army Airfield, Recife, Brazil and follow the Ascension Island NDB all the way. uhug Nice screenshots and good time to thanks Rich BTW If any one would like to make a copy of that panel, I will post my CFG and help with the panel textuers

Hey, guys, why not use the Garmin 500 map that comes with FS by default? I don't like it on the over-head panel. It works better in the middle of the panel. If you click on "TERR," you get a terrain relief display that shows where the mountains are. You can size the Garmin display as you like it. It happens also to be very realistic.

Hello gents! So far I've only been able to fly up to leg 4, but it's been a great ride all the way! Here's a screenie after having taxied to Mount Hotham's apron... notice the staff waving in the background after a "troubling" landing! Excellent race, keep up the great work Bluegrass! Leg#5 (YHOT to YCRG) Fulminant take off rwy 11 - Wind 135/08 means XWC: 3 kts and HWC: 7 kts Everyone present in the forum flying the swiss alps VFR in such conditions? heart fainted pilot, eh? Je regrette mon courage! Overhead YCRG for circuit Rwy 06 on final rwy 06, finally I made it.. perhaps. Cheating with a glissade! on ground - a nice landing but a lousy time. Target: 38.73, my time: 39.51 Take it easy..

Nothing like a real ugly landing at Corryong to make your flight crew stay awake. Had to dump a lot of altitude and speed before touch down and was still a hard brake stand to stop. Thanks for the challenge Andrew, I needed it.
